Thingsdata portal update

Last year, we launched our Thingsdata portal in August. Behind the scenes, Thingsdata has been working hard to add new features and improve the user experience. In this article, we would like to tell you more about the new updates that have been implemented. Right from the start, the portal already had the various features: announcements about maintenance work and breakdowns, news articles, access to our ticketing system and insight into agreements made through the contracts. The following features are now added and more are on their way.

Track & trace integration

Previously, we kept customers informed of the order status by opening a support ticket. With the new integration with PostNL in the Thingsdata portal, customers now have direct access to the order status and the corresponding track & trace code. You also have direct access to whether an order is still in transit or has already been delivered. A PostNL notification is sent automatically to the customer with every shipment as well.

Insight into invoices

Since the new update, it is also possible for customers to view monthly invoices in the Thingsdata portal. This means customers always have a clear overview of all invoices in one place. The invoices and specifications can easily be downloaded from the portal. A customer always receives an invoice as well as an Excel with specifications of how the invoice was created. This gives you an overview of current invoices, but also of all historical invoices.

FAQ and videos

The following updates will be implemented within two months. For customers, it will be possible to view the frequently asked questions (FAQ) for each part of our services. In addition, our support specialists have created instructional videos on our sim management systems. In these, we explain how to use and set up the most important features.

What is the purpose of the Thingsdata portal?

Thingsdata wants to unburden customers in all areas of its services. The goal is to integrate most of the applications we use within our services into the Thingsdata portal. This puts all information in one place so customers receive the tools to act independently. This will allow us to continuously improve our services.
