Thingsdata welcomes Pierre Vacher

Thingsdata welcomes Pierre Vacher as Senior Business Development Executive for Southern Europe, the Middle East and Africa (SEMEA). Pierre is French and has lived in Rome since 2025. From Rome, he serves customers and partners in markets such as France, Italy and Spain. Pierre started this week and spent his first days at the Thingsdata office in Amsterdam, where he met the team in person. With his arrival, Thingsdata strengthens its presence in Southern Europe and adds local market knowledge to its international team.

Pierre has more than 12 years of experience in IoT. At Webbing, he launched the company’s activities in Europe and worked with both direct customers and partners to provide reliable connectivity for enterprise mobility and IoT applications

The switch to Thingsdata

Organizations in the IoT market have very different connectivity needs. They range from industrial, smart city, agricultural and security applications to broadband access and remote access. Pierre sees Thingsdata as the IoT partner that can serve all of these needs.

He also has clear ambitions for his new role. “I look forward to gain more experience and visibility across the IoT verticals in the market. I want to expand my customer and partner base and reach new customers and partners faster with new tools such as AI.”
